Kerry is a mid-career theatrical Costume and Scenic Designer with a passion for experiment and teaching. The oral tradition of hand skills, especially traditionally "feminine" pursuits such as sewing and garment construction, is something unique in this modern day and age. How many things today really truly require you to be in the same room at the same time? To lay hands on something to make it work? Kerry believes these sorts of hand skills are immensely useful moving into the future as our society has devalued them over the last century but the world cannot sustain that disdain. Eventually, hand skills, the ability to make things will be highly valued again.
